My Jewellery Must Haves

Earlier this week I asked on my Instagram what sort of posts you would like to see and a few of you asked for a jewellery haul/collection post so I thought this week I would write about my current must haves and staples in my collection.

I have always been into accessorising, whether it’s a hairband, rings or necklaces I always try to add a little something to each look. The pieces I am talking about in this post today are my current, staple items. There is nothing ground breaking or innovative here, because I’m a bit of a basic b**ch really, but these are pieces that you can pair with any look for any occasion and add an extra touch to any outfit.

First up let’s talk earrings. I always prefer a gold earring as I feel it complements my skin tone better and matched my necklaces. Whether it’s a chunky hoop or a simple huggie earring, I love the way both of these look.

Next are necklaces, I am a huge huge Missoma fan! I wish I had more in my collection and I aim to invest more into some bracelets and rings in the future. However, I am confident that the necklaces I own are timeless pieces and will stay in my collection for a very long time.

The Lucy Williams pieces have always caught my eye, they’re so classic and timeless that you just know they will go with anything. The entire collection is gorgeous but for me the Roman Coin is an absolute must have. This pairs so nicely with the Mini Molten Necklace. This is a beautifully dainty necklace that stacks well with others or makes a beautiful statement worn separately also.

When it comes to rings I tend to mix metals and wear a combination of gold and silver as I like the contrast. A lot of my rings unique one off pieces. I get a lot of my rings from a beautiful jeweller on the island of Skopolos in Greece, therefore I cannot link them. However I know lots of markets sell similar styles.

My watch was a 21st Birthday present and is the Gucci G-Timeless Black Leather Strap Watch and it certainly is a timeless piece and goes with absolutely everything! It’s definitely an investment but I feel a watch is certainly worth spending a bit more on and lasting you for a lifetime!

Next up, I love a fun pair of earrings, especially in the summer. And these Pom Pom earrings are incredible. They are handmade locally to me and I’m obsessed with this tiger print pair. Tilly, who hand makes the earrings can make any style to your liking and provides the best service. You can check her bits out on her Instagram @tilly.makes_.

Finally, for bracelets I always wear my Tiffany Bracelet, I never take this off and is the perfect match for my watch. I feel this is a staple piece for so many, it’s so simple and chic and a must have!

So there we go, a short little overview of a few of my staple accessories. A combination of investment pieces and affordable items. I hope you have enjoyed reading, see you next time!
